215 - Every child matters
Giftologie, a Canadian jewellery company, and Jamie of @kitties_and_cab collaborated on this heartfelt project, which honours the lives of the children lost at residential schools. All proceeds from every sale of the "215 - every child matters" bracelets and necklaces will be donated to The Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
Giftologie had this to say on their Instagram post: "Jamie worked closely with the Indigenous community to ensure her art was paying homage in an appreciative way, rather than in an appropriative way. Using Jamie's beautiful artwork, we created this bracelet to serve as a reminder and encourage us to move towards change."
Thank you to everyone who has supported our in-store fundraiser, and continue to do so. We have raised $400 to date, and look forward to adding to that amount.
